German scharffenberg Dresden Silver (800 standard) Repoussé trinket box beautifully detailed round shaped with four feet. Early XXth century and in very good condition.

Hallmarked on the bottom.

G.A. Scharffenberg was a Gold- and Silver jeweler in Dresden. He was one of the saxony Hofjuwelier. Scharffenberg made all Royal Saxon Orders, and his name has been seen on a star of the Bavarian Order of St. Michael, made in 1890.
Before the WWI starts, the jeweler began to indent "Scharffenberg" and "Dresden" on the outer stage of the horizontal arms of the Albert Orders badges.
